Catalogue Raisonné is a meticulously studied artist book of the works of Jing Yu that were completed as of the end of 2009. The book is comprised of 39 images, with a brief biography of Ms. Yu, an index of her notebooks and sketchpads, and an introductory essay written by independent curator Natalie Campbell. The images were created by hand-tracing photographs of the artist’s original work onto stencils with typewritten text, and printed on a Gestetner 320 mimeograph machine at Bunny Copse Studio. The cover, title page, and essay were typeset in Sabon and printed digitally at Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop. The books were perfect bound by Ms. Yu at RBPMW and bear her seal. Catalogue Raisonné is published by Jing Yu and was completed in November 2010 in New York City. For scholars and laypersons alike, the book is a crucial resource in the understanding of Ms. Yu’s oeuvre.
